The PE and Sport Premium is a government-funded initiative provided by the Department for Education (DfE) to improve physical education (PE) and sports opportunities in primary schools. Its aim is to encourage healthy, active lifestyles and to improve the quality of PE and sport provision for all pupils.

Schools use this funding to develop or add to their existing PE curriculum, ensuring pupils have access to high-quality physical activities, sports competitions, and opportunities to develop their fitness and well-being.
